 I posted another article about the basketball program and after 6 games I am still not impressed.  The 6-0 start and top 5 recruiting class has made Arkansas fans delusional.  But, that's how fans are.  Some fans believe if you are not bragging about the program or always thinking positive you can't be a fan.  Newsflash, it's okay to tell it like it is and still be a fan.   The real problem with the Hogs??  The inside game or rather the lack of is going to be a big problem for them.  Yes, folks that's the same problem they had last year.  Did anyone watch them play against UCA?  They got out rebounded by a team that won't come close to winning their own conference.  You heard me right.  Out rebounded by a Southland Conference team.   CINCINNATI --   Bengals   quarterback   Brandon Allen   will take over for the injured   Joe Burrow   as the team's starter, a source confirmed to ESPN on Wednesday. Allen, who has spent the entire season on the practice squad, will be making his fourth career NFL start on Sunday against the  New York Giants .  I had a chance to see the Red and White game.  The biggest problem Arkansas has had is the lack of size and inside presence (rebounding and block shots).  There is no question Arkansas has shooter....allot of them.  But, when shooters are not hitting their shots what do you do?  You post up and force teams to the middle to open the outside up.  Who on Arkansas is going to help this year?  Well, let's look at the potential list of inside men. 1.   Abayomi Iyiola 6'9'' F.  What you like about him:  Has long arms.  Concerns:  He needs work.  Not very fast going down the court.  Not great at posting up.  Could develop into a shot blocker but that will take some time.  Very weak with the ball and bring it down low too much making it easy for smaller guys to steal the ball. 2.  Emeka Obukwelu 6'8'' F.  What you like about him:  Very strong young man with great work ethic.  Loves to go g...

  Brandon Allen won’t be backing up   Joe Burrow   in Cincinnati this season. Tom Pelissero of NFL Media  reports that  Allen is hitting the waiver wire on Saturday.  Ryan Finley  and Jake Dolegala were the other quarterbacks behind the first overall pick in Bengals camp this summer. Allen signed with the Bengals on August 1 after spending last season with the Broncos. He made three starts after  Joe Flacco ‘s season-ending injury and went 39-of-84 for 515 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in those outings.   The PAC 12, the BIG 10 are not playing this year out of the POWER conferences.  As I have been saying for years we should leave student out of student athlete.  It's all about the money.  Why would any school risk playing sports when there is still a pandemic situation going on?  It's dumb.  I called a game on Friday, they have certain rules that spread out the athletes on the sideline.  WHAT?  The dumbest thing I have ever heard.  So, while they are spread out on the sideline they are face to face with the other team on the field.  It presents a HUGE problem.  You don't know the exposure of the other athletes that you are playing against.  Furthermore, the risks it has for that players family.  Example:  Let's say an athlete gets the virus and not knows he really has it, then he gives it to another player on another team, that player then goes  home and gives it to his sibling who in turn gives it to Gran...
