Gameday Live: Alabama vs Nobody Razorbacks

No. 1  Alabama  will be without star quarterback and 2018 Heisman Trophy finalist  Tua Tagovailoa  on Saturday night against an  Arkansas  team that is reeling in Year 2 of the Chad Morris era. It's not only the biggest story in the SEC this week, it's the biggest story in the entire  college football  world. Will  Mac Jones  be serviceable? If not, will we see freshman Taulia Tagovailoa, Tua's brother, step in and give it a shot knowing that his redshirt can still be preserved when his brother comes back? What will Alabama's offense look like without its superstar signal-caller? Let's breakdown the game and make picks straight up and against the spread. Storylines Alabama:  All eyes will be on Jones -- the redshirt sophomore who has completed 62.5 percent of his passes (20 of 32) for 237 yards, one touchdown and one interception in mop-up duty this year. He has earned praise from the staff during the last two spring games, and has plenty enough experience

BB Live: Arkansas vs. Arkansas-Little Rock

The Arkansas Razorbacks are set to take on the University of Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans on Sunday afternoon inside Bud Walton Arena for their first exhibition game of the year. The Razorbacks are coached by  Eric Musselman , who took over as the head Hog in April. A former head coach for the Golden State Warriors (2002-04) and Sacramento Kings (2006-07), Musselman guided Nevada to three Mountain West Titles, three NCAA Tournament appearances and 110 combined wins in his most recent 4-year tenure with the program from 2015-19. Last season under former coach  Mike Anderson , the Hogs finished the year 18-16. Their season ended with a 63-60 loss to Indiana in the second round of the NIT. Not only will the Hogs’ be playing their first contest with Musselman at the helm, but the unveiling of Nolan Richardson Court will also happen on Sunday. Richardson led Arkansas to 13 NCAA Tournament appearances including six Sweet 16’s, four Elite Eights, three Final Fours, a national runner-up

Shameday Live Arkansas vs Auburn

Who's Playing Arkansas  (home) vs.  No. 11 Auburn  (away) Current Records: Arkansas 2-4-0; Auburn 5-1-0 What to Know Arkansas lost both of their matches to Auburn last season, on scores of 52-20 and 34-3, so they're hoping to turn the tables this season. Arkansas and Auburn will face off in an SEC battle at noon ET on Saturday at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. The Razorbacks are limping into the contest on a three-game losing streak. The Razorbacks might have drawn first blood against Kentucky last week, but it was Kentucky who got the last laugh. Arkansas was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 24-20 to Kentucky. The losing side was boosted by RB Rakeem Boyd, who rushed for 134 yards and two TDs on 15 carries. Boyd put himself on the highlight reel with a 74-yard TD scramble in the first quarter. Boyd has never finished with more yards this season. Meanwhile, after flying high against Miss. State three weeks ago, Auburn came

Word on the streets sound dyer for Razorbacks

The wheels may be off. Trey Biddy is pissed, players are jumping ship left and right. We let a 4th string QB  that can't throw look like Heisman candidate.

Arkansas To Unveil Nolan Richardson Court Oct. 20

Is it good enough???  In my opinion.....NO. He had the most wins of ANY program in the 90's.  Nolan was not only the most successful coach in Arkansas basketball history but he did it while dealing with the hatred and racism that came from this state's fan base.  Many fans of none color called his style of play "N" ball and felt it would NEVER work at Arkansas.  Ironically, when he started winning it was partially because of what Eddie Sutton established at Arkansas.  If that were the case would he have not won his first two years?  I do give credit for what Eddie did.  However, his accomplishments at Arkansas have ZERO to do with Nolan's success.  The real funny thing to me is that this very fan base glorified in his firing all over the comment that was directed towards the reporter not the fans.  Yet, fans took it personal and perhaps he gave them what they wanted. The fan base thought that basketball had caught up to Nolan and his 40 minutes of hell would nev

No. 24 SMU rallies to stay unbeaten with triple-overtime win

DALLAS -- Not since the Pony Express days with Eric Dickerson and Craig James has  SMU  been undefeated this deep into a season. Ranked for the first time in 33 years, the No. 24 Mustangs overcame a three-touchdown deficit in the fourth quarter, converted six fourth downs and finally beat  Tulsa  43-37 when  Shane Buechele  threw a 25-yard touchdown to  James Proche  in the third overtime Saturday night. "For us to go down 21 and just for them to keep playing, hang in there and figure out a way to win the game, it's a real credit to their character," second-year SMU coach Sonny Dykes said. After Tulsa missed its second field goal in overtime, Proche made a leaping catch in the front corner of the end zone over a defender and got a foot down before going out of bounds. The play was initially ruled incomplete before being overturned on replay review. "We knew we were a second-half team" said Proche, who had 11 catches for 153 yards and two scores. "I
