Jaylin Williams commits to Arkansas

Jaylin Williams  has committed to the Arkansas Razorbacks. The 6-9, 230-pound forward/center from Fort Smith (Ark.) Northside went public with a commitment video that was released via Instagram on Saturday afternoon, becoming Eric Musselman’s third addition for the Class of 2020. Williams chose the Hogs over co-finalist Auburn, but also held offers from Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, UCONN, Illinois, TCU and several others. The Natural State native made an unofficial visit in Fayetteville on November 5 and then returned to the Hill for another visit just four days later. On Nov. 14, Williams officially trimmed his list to the final two schools and set his announcement date. The four-star big gives Arkansas a trio of four-stars for this year’s class as he joins combo guard   Davonte Davis   of Jacksonville (Ark.) and shooting guard   Moses Moody , a Little Rock (Ark.) native who currently attends Montverde Academy in Montverde (Fla.). Sam Pittman to be named head coach at Arkansas

Georgia offensive line coach and associate head coach  Sam Pittman  will be the next head coach at the University of Arkansas, according to strong sources. Pittman has all but signed the deal. Pittman, 58, is one of the highest paid assistant coaches in the nation at $900,000 a year. Sources say he first reached out three weeks ago about the position, and after a long search, he became the answer for the Razorbacks. He was the offensive line coach at Arkansas under former head coach  Bret Bielema  from 20013-15 and has always expressed a love for Fayetteville behind the scenes. During that time, Arkansas brought in some of the biggest offensive line recruits in program history, beating out blue blood programs from several states away for players like  Denver Kirkland ,  Frank Ragnow ,  Dan Skipper  and several others. Since 2013, eight  Sam Pittman  players have been drafted into the NFL, including two first-rounders. Alabama came aft...

EXPOSED...

The PAC 12, the BIG 10 are not playing this year out of the POWER conferences.  As I have been saying for years we should leave student out of student athlete.  It's all about the money.  Why would any school risk playing sports when there is still a pandemic situation going on?  It's dumb.  I called a game on Friday, they have certain rules that spread out the athletes on the sideline.  WHAT?  The dumbest thing I have ever heard.  So, while they are spread out on the sideline they are face to face with the other team on the field.  It presents a HUGE problem.  You don't know the exposure of the other athletes that you are playing against.  Furthermore, the risks it has for that players family.  Example:  Let's say an athlete gets the virus and not knows he really has it, then he gives it to another player on another team, that player then goes  home and gives it to his sibling who in turn gives it to Gran...
