PETE ROULIER | 6-3 overall, 5-4 against the spread
The story of Ty Storey coming back into Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium and beating his former team is almost too hard to bet against. Also, the Hilltoppers have the 24th ranked defense nationally, giving up just 317.8 yards per game. That being said, the Razorbacks are the more talented team, and although that hasn’t mattered at times this season, maybe either John Stephen Jones or KJ Jefferson can take care of the football and put it into Treylon Burks’ hands. All signs point to an Arkansas loss, but I think the Hogs pull it out in a close one. Arkansas 24, Western Kentucky 17
TREY BIDDY | 7-2 overall, 4-5 against the spread
Well this is setting up to be just rotten isn't it. Former Arkansas starting quarterback Ty Storey is coming back to town with his new team trying steal a win over the Razorbacks and show everyone in Fayetteville what's what. At the same time, Arkansas is going a totally different direction at quarterback with redshirt freshman John Stephen Jones and true freshman KJ Jefferson, so maybe that will change up the mojo a little bit for the Hogs...or maybe it won't. The Hogs have gone down 17-0 the last three games and are coming off an embarrassing home loss to Mississippi State. The defense looked like a unit that had completely quit while giving up 460 rushing yards in that one. Western Kentucky isn't without flaws, but they certainly have more to play for in this one. DANNY WEST | 6-3 overall, 4-5 against the spread
- A win over Western Kentucky would mean nothing for Arkansas at this point, but a loss could mean everything for head coach Chad Morris. By all means, the Razorbacks should win this game. Ty Storey, Gaej Walker and the Hilltoppers will score points on an Arkansas defense that ranks 118th in the nation in points allowed because -- well, of course they will. This game comes down to Rakeem Boyd and Devwah Whaley's ability to outscore WKU. I think the Hogs get just enough from quarterbacks John Stephen Jones and KJ Jefferson and barely edge the Hilltoppers. Arkansas 31, Western Kentucky 28
