Gameday Live: Arkansas vs Portland State

The Arkansas Razorbacks, coming off a 2-10 season, open 2019 on Saturday with a game vs. Portland State, 4-7 in 2018. It is the first ever meeting between the two teams.
While Portland State has beaten FBS teams in the past, in 2015 they beat Washington State and North Texas (66-7!), they are two years removed from a winless season. Arkansas is 13-1 in their last 14 openers, with the lone loss coming to Auburn in 2014. Expect for a game that won’t be very close. We should get a chance to see both Ben Hicks and Nick Starkel get playing time as well as a lot of the freshman. This should be a tune up for the Ole Miss game next week.
