QB for the future

Now that Starkel has relieved us of his talents the QB position is wide open.  There are a lot of QBs in the transfer portal, but will we sign one? 

Sam has stated he likes the RPO game which would bode well for KJ.  If we don't sign a transfer it would seem the job is his.  Being a first year coach Sam will sort of get a pass his first year.   Just beat the out of conf games which includes Notre Dame.

Also will we flip Criswell?  Probably depends on who gets the OC job.  Noted that Criswell is being pursued by auburn and not chandler morris.  Wonder how much of an impact Dancing Chad will really have or will he just be a "token" OC just cause Gus felt sorry for him.

Another aspect is how much will we upgrade the oline during the early signing period coming up this week.  We'll soon see how hard Sam really worked during this two week period.

I have watched this game tonight between Browns and Jets and I am convinced that the Jets who have gone through 2 QBs do not have legit QB on the team. Brandon Allen, Dak Prescott and Chad Kelly all have equivalent stats in SEC and got drafted same time.  I think if Brandon was with NY Jets he may be viewed as a star. It is 3rd qtr and no Jet QB has completed any pass beyond the line of scrimmage. Gabe Osabuohien dismissed from Razorbacks

Razorback forward  Gabe Osabuohien  was dismissed from the basketball team on Thursday. Osabuohien, 6-8, 221, played 15.1 minutes per game during the 2018-19 season. He started in the last eight games for the Hogs, and the Little Rock Southwestern Christian product by way of Canada averaged 3.1 points per contest and brought down 3.2 rebounds. THE REAL PROBLEM WITH HOGS BASKETBALL

 I posted another article about the basketball program and after 6 games I am still not impressed.  The 6-0 start and top 5 recruiting class has made Arkansas fans delusional.  But, that's how fans are.  Some fans believe if you are not bragging about the program or always thinking positive you can't be a fan.  Newsflash, it's okay to tell it like it is and still be a fan.   The real problem with the Hogs??  The inside game or rather the lack of is going to be a big problem for them.  Yes, folks that's the same problem they had last year.  Did anyone watch them play against UCA?  They got out rebounded by a team that won't come close to winning their own conference.  You heard me right.  Out rebounded by a Southland Conference team. Hog O-line ready to make big push in 2019

Splitting the team up on two different fields for approximately half of practice would not have been possible last year due to the low numbers along the offensive line, but the numbers are a lot better now. Second-year Arkansas head coach  Chad Morris  chose to use both practice fields with the first and third units on one side and the second and fourth units on the other. This enables all four quarterbacks to see a significant number of reps and for younger players -- especially the highly coveted freshman class -- to show what they can do without ever having to say they did not get enough opportunities. As for the OL, they are still shuffling and trying to find the right mix. The starting defense has gone virtually unchanged practice after practice, but that has been far from true with the offense. Jalen Hurts Scores 6 TDs in Debut; No. 4 Oklahoma Cruises to Win vs. Houston

Hurts led the Oklahoma Sooners to a 49-31 victory over the Houston Cougars in Sunday's season opener at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. The Alabama transfer finished 20-of-23 for 332 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions and took the first step in his effort to direct the Sooners to their third straight College Football Playoff. He also added 176 yards and three scores on the ground. Houston is starting its own era after hiring former West Virginia head coach Dana Holgorsen this past offseason, but it will have to overcome an early loss to make a bowl game for the seventh straight year.
