What happened to UA Track?????

When John McDonald was the coach he won 11 cross country, 10 indoor and 19 outdoor national titles.  I realize expecting another coach to do the same is asking a bit much.  However, the current head coach Bucknam has not won 1.  Shouldn't we expect more from our elite program?  Who thinks it is time to hire a new coach?

QB for the future

Now that Starkel has relieved us of his talents the QB position is wide open.  There are a lot of QBs in the transfer portal, but will we sign one?  Sam has stated he likes the RPO game which would bode well for KJ.  If we don't sign a transfer it would seem the job is his.  Being a first year coach Sam will sort of get a pass his first year.   Just beat the out of conf games which includes Notre Dame. Also will we flip Criswell?  Probably depends on who gets the OC job.  Noted that Criswell is being pursued by auburn and not chandler morris.  Wonder how much of an impact Dancing Chad will really have or will he just be a "token" OC just cause Gus felt sorry for him. Another aspect is how much will we upgrade the oline during the early signing period coming up this week.  We'll soon see how hard Sam really worked during this two week period.

Jalen Hurts Scores 6 TDs in Debut; No. 4 Oklahoma Cruises to Win vs. Houston

Hurts led the Oklahoma Sooners to a 49-31 victory over the Houston Cougars in Sunday's season opener at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. The Alabama transfer finished 20-of-23 for 332 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions and took the first step in his effort to direct the Sooners to their third straight College Football Playoff. He also added 176 yards and three scores on the ground. Houston is starting its own era after hiring former West Virginia head coach Dana Holgorsen this past offseason, but it will have to overcome an early loss to make a bowl game for the seventh straight year. 4-star Jaylin Williams names Top 7

Fort Smith (Ark.) Northside 2020 center  Jaylin Williams   has released his top seven schools. The 6-10, 230-pound big man announced his favorites via Twitter on Wednesday, naming Arkansas, Oklahoma State, UCONN, Auburn, Texas A&M, Illinois and Iowa State. Arkansas head coach  Eric Musselman  and his staff hosted Williams on an unofficial visit on July 26. Williams also made a trip to Oklahoma State in early June. One of the Hogs' best current players, shooting guard  Isaiah Joe , was a three-star recruit coming out of Northside High in the Class of 2018. Williams is one of four Arkansas natives that have been offered by the Razorbacks for the Class of 2020. The others include four-star guard  KK Robinson  of Bryant, four-star power forward Chris Moore of West Memphis, and four-star shooting guard  Moses Moody , a Little Rock native who attends Montverde Academy in Florida.
