Former Arkansas QB Ty Storey learns fate in WKU QB race

Ty Storey is in for a different role than he envisioned when he transferred to Western Kentucky.
The former Arkansas QB learned this week that he lost the starting quarterback job to Steven Duncan, coach Tyson Helton told reporters, including Tyler Mansfield and Elliott Pratt. Helton, the former Tennessee offensive coordinator, said both QBs will play, and he’s open to extending the competition.
Storey, a graduate transfer from Arkansas, played in 10 games for the Razorbacks in 2018, and started nine. He collected 1,584 yards through the air on 143-of-250 passing, threw 11 touchdowns, but also had 10 interceptions. He completed 57 percent of his passes last season.

Interestingly enough, the Hilltoppers open with Central Arkansas on Aug. 29.

This Storey all but validates how bad the QB problem was last year and there is hope for a more competitive year with a competent QB.

Hogs Final Four (from Elite 8 from Sweet16) Bound ?

Up Next is #1 Seed Baylor Hogs have not played a complete game yet. They must do so against Baylor to have a chance and failure to do so could get ugly/. Razorbacks playing best season in 26 years, where is the chatter? Are we all in Shock.  I am in Awe of the job Eric Musselman has done. A victory over ORU and we are in Elite 8 .  We have already achieved the #3 Seed honor by making Sweet 16.
